About Us

The Wedding Candle Company was founded by Luke & Kath.

Whilst we were planning our own wedding, we were looking for unique gifts for our wedding party and an unusual way to ask our bridesmaids to be a part of our special day and so, The Wedding Candle Company was born!

Kath started sister company, Elinor Sophia, in 2018 having loved scented candles for years but not knowing how bad the ingredients in many "luxury" candles were. She set up Elinor Sophia to create candles that only use sustainable ingredients and soy wax.

We have used this experience to lovingly hand-pour all of our candles with sustainable soy wax, and fine fragrance oils. We design all of our labels, including hand-drawing the designs ourselves, before printing them and adding them to the quality glass candle vessels, which we hope you will re-use once you have enjoyed the candle.

All of our recyclable packagingis designed in our studio, which is also printed and cut in-house to lower its carbon footprint.
